thanks Stephen. I’m not much of photographer. But one of the things that I really enjoyed about the Cannonball was looking back at these types of photos, when I snapped pics without really thinking about it. heat & exhaustion does funny things to your mind. 😉
It’s like I want this to never end. What happened to Buddy Stubbs’ ’15 Excelsior mechanically? Something we should think about (1916 Excelsiors)?? I’m wondering too if you have heard of the Screamin’ Eagle 3 bolt carburetor for Schebler replacement. My Schebler is the last thing I’m worrying about so I’m wondering if I can get a modern replacement to get me initially on the road. Scheblers scare me. Big fan of the post here. Thanks a ton, Paul/Bangkok/Los Angeles
I didn’t get time to look inside Buddy’s motor, but he broke one of the cast lugs that locates the bushings for the timing gears. PS, Scheblers are interesting. It’s always fun to learn a new way to mix air & fuel. 😉
these are great! thanks pete!!!

Pete: In the last photo, I think two Velos were preceding you. 😉 Jim A.
