2010 Rigid Ride
One horsepower
Sunday was the Rigid Ride in Portola Valley. We met at the Alpine Inn, then rode out for coffee at the San Gregorio General Store. No photos of the fish fence this year, as all the fishies were taken off the fence posts. Maybe the buzzards got em.
Somebody did snap a pic of some of the riders while we were stopped:
Pete, John, Charlie, Kim and Chris.
Craig with his little BSA 250 flat tank. It was the first time he had taken it out for a club ride, and it looked really great. He has been working on the bike off and on for a couple of years and just has a few more minor things to work out. It overheated a bit going up Old La Honda Road, but we expect to see it on the 49 Mile Ride this Halloween. (get your costumes ready!)
Charlie’s Matchless Model X. I often snap pics of this bike, and never get tired of looking at it.
Chris’s 1915 HD twin, with the first year of the pedal start three speed gearbox. This bike was restored about 15 or 20 years ago, but looks very fresh.
