2010 All British Ride, petrol tank photos

November 7, 2010

My 5 year old commandeered the camera for a few minutes on yesterday’s ride.  His focus was on gas tanks this time.  here are his favorites:

An early 1950’s Norton International.  missing the chin pad, but otherwise it is spectacular.

The rear end of the Paul Zell Egli Vincent.  Paul beat and rolled the aluminum tank and tail, painted and pinstriped it too.  The silver bit is polished aluminum.

Pete: I very much enjoy seeing photos taken by young people. Somehow it give me insight into my own photos and if I would just relax and snap away I might be happier.

Keep showing your own kid’s stuff. Jim A.

I’ll take that Norton if it’s an early scrambler. MMmmmm. Yummy. Did you ride your Excelsior? Nice. Thanks, Paul PS Ditto on J Abbott’s remarks.

Hi Paul. The All Brit Ride has one strict rule: the bike must be British. so I rode the family Velocette and left the X at home.
