This guy helped when the B&B carb came unsoldered in Hot Springs AR.  He and his wife and their little dog gave me a ride in the new Caddy a mile uphill so that I could look on the side of the road for some of the little brass bits that fell off.  We never found them, but soldered together what we had.  He’s holding the hot parts, fresh from the propane torch.  The fix worked for the next 1000+ miles to the Pacific….

Very good job with this Pete. I enjoyed being a part of the Cannonball with you. I appreciated your determination and “class” you showed during the entire event.

thanks Jim! It was a lot of fun riding along with you. I wish that I could have kept up with your Indian. I won’t soon forget that ride up/down Stigreaves pass and the crazy wild donkeys in streets of Oatman.
