    Sept. 22 Wednesday

You’ve got to be the luckiest unlucky guy (next to Dieter) I know. How do you find these artist/craftsmen? I only know one true machinist in all of Tucson and he’s retired. I’m saving up my last desperate plea until I really need it. I expect to see you in Victorville in fine fettle. Same for the Premier.

Here’s hoping for no more rain. And if there is, you’re tough and you can take it. Jim A.

p.s. Have you ever tried Permatex #3 (I think it’s #3, it’s the one that comes in a can with a brush in the top) on your belt? Decades ago we used it as a non-slip treatment for drive belts and fan belts and my brother used it on his Whizzer belt.
